I got 12 hours of sleep today. I really need to make a better effort to get enough sleep during the week so that I don't wind up using up so much of my weekends on sleep. After I woke up, I couldn't bring myself to get up until my parents called asking if I wanted to join them for lunch.

Lunch

We went to a Chinese place that we hadn't been to before that was pretty well-reviewed in the papers. The place was a little bit dirty, but that seems to be the norm for Chinese restaurants around here for whatever reason. It was one of the slowest places I've ever been to. It took almost a half hour to get our appetizers, and we went at 2! Not exactly peak hours. The food was pretty good. The general tso's chicken was extremely sweet though and I wound up only being able to eat a little bit of it.

Kong

Since we were out, we decided to go see a movie. We saw Kong, and I expected it to not be very good at all, since I think Kong is one of the stupidest movie monsters. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the movie. Even my mom, who normally hates these kind of monster movies, enjoyed it. Though all the reasons she gave could be applied to Pacific Rim, which she hated.

While we were at the mall, I also picked up the first volume of the first three JoJo series. Then while I was standing in line, I decided, "Heck, I've got disposable income," and just grab as many books of each series as I could and wound up spending over 200 on manga. I actually wound up getting a Barnes and Noble membership because I was spending so much and it was barely anything more. My mom, of course, disapproved since she still "hates" B&N. Didn't stop her from having me buy for her a Peter Rabbit finger puppet set.

Overwatch

Once we got home, I started playing some Overwatch and started an Arcade 3v3 and wound up getting matched with one of my in-game friends. I joined their group and we wound up playing 3 competitive games, of which we won 2. In the last game, the enemy team stomped us for the first game, then half the second. They got cocky though and tried to hold us at our spawn. Oh, did we ever turn that around on them. We used a couple of ults to wipe most of their team at our spawn, then took the point for the entire rest of the round. The third round we wound up decimating them again. I'm guessing that loss after they got so cocky tilted them off the face of the Earth. That was one of the most satisfying wins I've had in a long time.

Night

After that, Fef sent me a message. We had planned to watch a Pokemon movie, but because I wound up spending so much time with my family, I wasn't available until pretty late. And at the time that I got back, Discord was showing me to her as idle, so I assumed she wasn't online and didn't say anything. It turned out that she was feeling depressed and didn't message me because of it. Next time, I'll just send the message. There's really no harm in it. Because I didn't say anything, it wound up getting to be too late to watch the movie, especially given that she'll have to get up early for her flight.

Sexual Thoughts

I'm really enjoying having my porn collection so easily available. This was a good move, even though I'm still pretty nervous about it being discovered. Although my mom did say earlier today that she doesn't care what decisions my brother and I make, so maybe she wouldn't care too much. Oh who am I kidding, this is the person who took away my computer for a year because I was watching porn. Of course her reasoning then was that it was degrading to women, so I don't know what she'd have to say about the fact that it's all drawings, and half males.
